Terms and conditions
General
- To receive the benefits of membership your card must be shown at the time of use.
- Membership is not transferable.
- Lost, damaged or stolen membership cards can be replaced by paying the appropriate fee at one of our leisure facilities.
- Your child must complete an induction for the appropriate activity or facility, or access will not be permitted.
- Gateshead Council reserves the right to at its discretion to withdraw membership from any persons who misuse the scheme, or does not conform to conditions of use.
Clip n' Climb
In addition to the standard Clip n' Climb terms and conditions, the following apply in relation to the GO Kids products:
- Members must be a minimum of five years old to access Clip n' Climb.
- Clip n' Climb sessions can only be booked either in-person or via telephone at Gateshead Leisure Centre. Online bookings are not available.
- Your membership must be valid when making a new booking, as well as on the date of attendance. Invalid bookings will be refused entry.
- A maximum of one booking per week is permitted with your membership.
- Clip n' Climb sessions may be cancelled up to 24 hours prior to the event. Cancellations after this time, or a failure to attend will be subject to full charges
FlowRider
In addition to the standard Clip n' Climb terms and conditions, the following apply in relation to the GO Kids products:

- FlowRider sessions can only be booked either in-person or via telephone at Heworth Leisure Centre. Online bookings are not available.
- Your membership must be valid when making a new booking, as well as on the date of attendance. Invalid bookings will be refused entry.
- A maximum of one booking per week is permitted with your membership.
- FlowRider sessions may be cancelled up to 24 hours prior to the event. Cancellations after this time, or a failure to attend will be subject to full charges.
Gym
- Gym access is only permitted during supervised sessions, 4-5.30pm on weekdays and 12.30-2.30pm on weekends. During school holidays, weekdays include 12.30-2.30pm. Those children accompanied by an adult who is either a GO Gateshead member or or has paid for casual use may also use the gym 5.30-6.30pm Monday to Friday.
- Parent or Guardian must attend the child's induction, where they will be required to provide written consent for the child to use our gym facilities.
- At no point do our gyms offer exclusive use for children.
Fitness classes
- Fitness class access is only permitted for Go Kids Plus members aged 11-13 years, and must be accompanied by an adult who is either a GO Gateshead member or has paid for casual use, and is participating in the session.
- Your membership must be valid when making a new booking, as well as on the date of attendance. Invalid bookings will be refused entry.
