What does it involve?

A high-energy cycling workout to improve cardio fitness, build core strength and tone muscles. Using stationary bikes, instructors put you through your paces using a combination of speed, resistance and abdominal exercises to increase your general level of fitness.

Cycle Abs focuses on core fitness and greater well-being, without placing undue stress on joints.

Is it for me?

Cycle Abs is like a brisk bike ride without the passing trucks and rubbish weather. The GO Moderate intensity level makes it suitable for intermediate and regular exercisers.

Classes take place in a positive, friendly and motivational environment, making them a great place to work out amongst friends. If you like that sort of thing, and you don't mind pedalling, you'll love it!

Cycle Abs is included in the GO Gateshead Membership. You can also come and try it out on a pay-as-you-go basis.
